Bad News About Medicom Dragonball Figures

Pictures and complaints are popping up all over the place, about what looks
to be a very serious design flaw in the otherwise brilliant Son Goku figure from Medicom Toys. The figure was only just released about 3 months ago, but already major cracking and splitting is being found in the rubber neck and chest pieces, as displayed in the photos above. So far the cause of the defect is unknown, and Medicom has not yet commented on replacing the faulty parts.

Son Goku was the first Dragonball themed figure by Medicom, but figures for a Super Saiyan Son Goku, Piccolo and Son Gohan are also on the way. Hopefully Medicom will be able to find a way to fix the problem, and this will not effect the remaining figures in the series.
