Nope. Never heard of it.

Random anime facts:

-The guy who does the voice of Bass in Dead Or Alive 2 and Edge Master in Soul Calibur, is the same guy that does the voice of Mr. Satan in DBZ.

-The guy who did the character designs for Neon Genesis Evangelion, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, also provides the story and artwork for the manga version of NGE.

has anyone here heard of a great series called Saiyuki? Its based on the "journey to the west"

Great series! one of the characters is named Son Goku. Ive only read the manga, havent seen the anime but it looks good.I could go on but I wont.

my random or not so random fact:the voice actor of Krillin in dragonball also does the voice of Yajirobi. But you all probably already know that

Oh good, it worked.

Hey, I just saw the EW Special Edition dub...best dub I have ever seen. DEAD ON translation, INCREDIBLE VAs, and cool mecha. What more could you ask for...besides subbed UC. Speaking of which, coming soon, this year.....0079 and the 08th MS Team! The best and longest of the OYW saga is coming too our shores. To quote Toonami: Suit up.

Ok, here's something that I think everyone should post on: The "Best Dub Around Poll"! Vote for the dub you think is best or write in a choice. Here are the contestants:

Dragonball Z
Trigun
Rououni Kenshin
Vision of Escaflwone
Neon Genesis Evangilon
Tenchi Universe
Tenchi Muyo!
Cowboy Bebop
Gundam Wing
Pokemon
Cardcaptor Sakura
Sailor Moon
Outlaw Star
(Write In)

Ok now remember, this is for DUBS not Subs or Original. DVD dubs do count. The write in is for any personal favorites I forgot to put in.

Im going to have to vote for Vision of Escaflowne.

Why? for a dub I actually enjoyed it, some pretty good VA's, it was translated well and I just loved seeing it on TV fgor once, that was cool.

So theres my vote

Wow. Legato, you've just selected my favorite dubbed series. If I could, I would vote for all of them. But, since that option's out of the question, I'll just throw in a few write-in's:

The Slayers
MSG Movie Trilogy
Gundam 0083
Dual
El Hazard
Armitage III
Iria

Souzu Sagara was real and he was really killed like a dog, poor guy.

Sure, let's talk Kenshin! Who here wayches the show? Besides myself and Cland?

Has anyone heard about the new line of Kenshin figures? It'll include Kenshin, Sanosuke, Karou, Saitoh (whom I haven't seen in the show yet. I own volumes 1-2 on DVD so I have ps. 1-9 so far), Battosai Kenshin, and some OVA character who I've no clue about.

OK, time to bring this thread back to the top....

Big O and Goddess Candadites (or as they call it Pilot Candadites) are supposedly coming to Cartoon Network pretty soon. Thats cool, some good shows for once (not that the anime on CN now is bad). The figures look pretty cool also, too bad no Goddess Candadites figure got shown at toyfair.

Ive seen both of those shows and can say there both very cool, I think Gundam fans will realy enjoy both shows.

Random fact Allen (Escaflowne) and Kojiro (James from Pokemon) are both voiced by the same guy. You would be suprised at how many popular VA's do voices in Pokemon.

Can I get anyone's opinion on Cowboy Bebop? You know what I want to know: how violent, how gross, etc.

I've seen every episode of Cowboy Bebop (except for the last two, but that may change soon). To put it simply, the amount of violence and nudity in Cowboy Bebop is the equivalent of that of NYPD Blue mixed with The Matrix. It's a great anime series (one of my personal favorites), so do plan on seeing it soon.
